Hearing consultation
More info
AJC Hearing supply hearing aids from all major brands including Bernafon, Oticon, Phonak, ReSound, Signia, Starkey, Unitron and Widex. Your test, your fitting and your aftercare are all done by Andrew Cattini, who has been qualified for over twenty years.
We start by examining your ears for wax, because a blocked ear gives a misleading result. If there’s wax there we’ll talk you through having it removed first. Then a full hearing test to establish the type and degree of any hearing loss, and we go through the results with you in plain English. If hearing aids could help, you can try a pair at home for a week before deciding. There’s no obligation to buy anything.
Our clinic is at 1 Garnett Street, Stockport, SK1 3AR, about fifteen minutes from Wilmslow by car.
If getting out is difficult, we can come to you in Wilmslow. There’s no call-out charge for a hearing test at home, and the test itself is free.
I have recently purchased my first pair of hearing aids from Andrew Cattini (AJC Hearing) due to my hearing loss and tinnitus.
Andrew offers a great service. He spent time with me, explaining any relevant issues of using hearing aids and their suitability for my requirements prior to doing the actual hearing test in the comfort of my own home.
I had previously gone to a large high street franchise, but decided to see if I could better the prices I had been quoted, and this is where AJC Hearing saved me over £1100 on the exact same model of hearing aids! (Phonak Audeo Yes). Whilst still offering the same level of free service and support.
Andrew did a follow up consultation after a few weeks to make sure I was happy, and I was - with the advice, the product and a great personal service.
